A fabulous day at Essex Wildlife Trust Fingringhoe Wick reserve today. Lots of wildlife to see including Small Copper butterfly, Cowslip, Adder & Green-winged Orchid plus birds; Nightingale, Lesser Redpoll, Whimbrel, Red Kite, Sand Martin, Swallow... Good to see Swallow Birding & Wildlife too.

Green-winged Orchids are already in flower at Fingringhoe Wick this afternoon. Lots of Nightingale and Warblers singing and also a very vocal but elusive Firecrest (thanks OliCWildlife).
