Loving the #Maths debate. But the PM is too broad in his analysis. The basic skills needed by all are in numeracy. Scotland had a specific Arithmetic ‘O’ Grade until the 80’s. It was compulsory for all alongside English. Big mistake to merge it into Maths and make it optional. 👨‍🎓
