The campaign and support for the #PolluterPaysAmendment keeps growing. We are very grateful to Michael Gove and Stephen Greenhalgh for the constructive meetings. We will keep fighting for it to be implemented in the #BuildingSafetyBill. #PolluterPaysBill

Big change from govt on buildings under 18.5m and I understand Michael Gove will reiterate principle that leaseholders should not be paying for any remediation costs. Both likely to be warmly welcomed by leaseholders in buildings across the country...

Hearing directly from leaseholders affected by the cladding scandal yesterday strongly reinforced my determination to accelerate our work to make buildings safe and to protect leaseholders from unfair costs. Thank you End Our Cladding Scandal for meeting with me.

It takes an awful lot of guts to tell someone something like this to their face. You can hear the courage in her voice. But well done you, whoever you are, I think you’re brilliant

Adrian Edmondson ❎ Very well said. This government privatised energy, water, rail companies & now are forcing privatisation on NHS through lack of action, investment & support. NHS 💔 😢

All I can think about is that poor boy who died because of damp and mould in his flat. And that our board/MA are happy to leave us like this after removing our cladding + insulation. I have a 3 y/o + 1 y/o. *video from last year* #BuildingSafetyCrisis #endourcladdingscandal

It is time for Bellway developers to pay up. Residents of St George's Grove in Tooting have been left in limbo over cladding on their buildings - there's been string of broken promises for far too long.

1 week today, Ofgem set a new energy price cap. Wholesale gas prices are almost 10 times cheaper today than they were last August. Wholesale gas is cheaper than any moment in the last 700 days. Ofgem must end the price racket. The gouging. Ofgem must cut energy bills now.

Lots of people saying to me things like "energy prices we pay may come down in July, but I bet energy firms put them back up in winter" Remember energy bills now are effectively currently set by the regulator OFGEM, as they're all at the cap level. So it decides not firms.

Buying my flat remains the worst decision I’ve ever made. We tried to sell 5 years ago, and still can’t get rid of it. Like millions we aspired to get on the housing ladder. We were sold a defective dud with little legal recourse to protect ourselves. ft.com/content/df25cc…

British Gas profits of £3 billion while people are struggling to heat their homes. This government should be ashamed. energylivenews.com/2023/02/16/bri….
