Amazing to hear the Health Secretary pay tribute to activists who were reviled as transphobes, and good to hear Wes Streeting agree that the situation is a scandal. But his deputy leader Angela Rayner 🌹 is STILL calling those activists bigots who should be thrown out of The Labour Party

Plenty of people have, at great cost to themselves, calmly discussed the issue we're now being asked to discuss calmly. If we hadn't been calm, we wouldn't have been constantly accused of 'using dogwhistles' or 'denying people's right to exist'. >

For several years, women have been smeared, threatened, silenced & lost their jobs because of gender ideology. The Labour Party either remained silent or threw around accusations of 'transphobia'. The leadership owes many women an apology.
