Marking 25 years we will be leaving the Admiral Duncan pub #Soho at 610pm this evening, to walk to St Anne’s Gardens for a short service of remembrance for to mark the anniversary of the Admiral Duncan Nail Bomb (30th April 1999) Soho Police Westminster City Council #soholondon

Thanks to the Metropolitan Police who laid a wreath outside the Admiral Duncan this morning to mark the 25th anniversary of the nail bomb attack that killed three people here and injured many more.

We appreciate you standing with us and all those affected by these awful attacks today.

We remember Andrea Dykes, John Light and Nick Moore killed at the Admiral Duncan Pub - and many who were injured when a hateful extremist targeted Black, Asian and LGBT+ people in Brixton, Brick Lane and Soho.

Today we met with Soho Police for a meeting to discuss the ongoing issues with motorbikes on Frith Street & around #Soho . We will continue to work with Soho Police & the team to reduce the anti social behaviour from motorbikes. This will include education, enforcement and S59 warnings.

#ProjectServator were on patrol in uniform and plain clothes in #SOHO with Soho Police Officers using their specialist skills to help keep #SOHO SaferSoho.

ASB patrols with West End & ChinaTown.
We dealt with a crowd due to an unlicensed busker, who was engaged with by Westminster City Council.

We have many artists in the West End, and they require a licence and a pitch to operate. Similar to TfL.

Today marks 40 years since WPC Yvonne Fletcher was shot and killed on duty as she policed a protest in St James’s Square.

This morning Commissioner Sir Mark Rowley visited the scene and laid a wreath in Yvonne’s memory.
