Yesterday I spoke at the launch of the Right to Equality report on #presumptionofcontact . This presumption has facilitated a pro contact culture which is silencing victims and children and putting them at risk. Reform is well overdue shorturl.at/kpstM

We are calling on the Ministry of Justice Alex Chalk KC MP to repeal the current presumption of parental involvement in the lives of children.

⚠️ The #FamilyCourt system, as it stands at the moment, inflicts a second wave of abuse upon victims of #DomesticAbuse when it silences them & fails to protect them.

➡️ The court currently takes the presumption of contact to an extreme, in that it is willing to jeopardise
