All week, we have been conducting research and debating their bills in Committees in the House of Representatives. Today, the bills that survived committee were debated on the floor. We passed one bill, which will be sent to the Senate on Monday!

It’s rare to see fifth graders play games like Duck Duck Goose - this spontaneous game from this morning shows that they’ll do anything for their Kindergarten buddies! 💕🐻

During our class party, students had a blast creating their own trivia questions and playing a game of Trust No One on Gimkit! @CMorganBES

What a day! We surprised students with Olympics Day - a full day of games and challenges with their fifth grade Houses. Such a fun way to review our learning and apply problem solving skills. Nothing but smiles from this crew!

Argument writing: After researching the pros and cons of chocolate milk, students worked together to write their evidence on index cards, group them into categories, then label them with reasons. Now we have carefully developed claims, reasons, and evidence for both sides!

We loved enriching our study of WW2 today by examining artifacts from one of the FCS Teaching Museum Traveling Trunks!

Today students presented physical & chemical changes. Students shared their learning by creating engaging and informative videos, power points, sketch notes, & Adobe creations. So proud!
