We loved enriching our study of WW2 today by examining artifacts from one of the FCS Teaching Museum Traveling Trunks!

All historians are also expert readers! Students combined their skills at breaking down challenging texts and understanding poetry to analyze poems written by American and Japanese soldiers in the Pacific Theater. They were excited to see and understand the differences in POV!

So much energy and it’s only 9 am?! Students put their acting skills to the test as they turned the scene they’d just read in A Wish in the Dark into a tableau! What a fun way to check for student understanding of perspective.
