Started #100DaysOfSwiftUI today (already did 1-14 in #100DaysOfSwift) - Today was 1 hr Swift review, fortunately all was familiar. Although I’m currently busy with other things at the moment, I wanted to get started with SwiftUI. Progress may be sporadic for a few weeks.

It has been 7 years since I last updated Julianator. But after learning a little bit of Swift (was ObjC before), I was finally able to submit to the App Store and now waiting for approval 😬

Finally got approved and in the App Store. It’s been a paid app since before IAP was an option. My goal was to make it free with IAP, but didn’t get that far so will save for next update. Wanted to get the Lock Screen widgets and Watch app out there first w/ iOS 16 release.

I realized to move forward with my app, I needed to do some design with mock-ups. After much searching decided to use Figma. I initially deemed it too hard, but after diving into it, it’s actually not that difficult and very beneficial!

My App has charted #86 under paid Utilities which is somewhat sad since it only makes ~$20/month. Working on converting to in app purchase/subscription model to see what happens.

I took advantage of using the one icon image size when I updated last month. But since it had been 7 years since submitting an app update, I didn’t realize this was only recently new for Xcode 14. useyourloaf.com/blog/xcode-14-…

I submitted this as a Feedback report and on Friday Apple finally replied to test with iOS 16.2 beta. Happy to say it is now fixed with iOS 16.2!
