I would genuinely love to have a conversation w/ these authors about Salah Soltan, a US LPR unjustly detained in Egypt for TEN YEARS now despite no evidence of wrongdoing. I applaud the Iran efforts. But it's well past time to apply the clear pressure to Egypt to release Salah.

Two weeks ago the Biden admin waived rights conditions on $235m in military aid to Egypt on "national security grounds." Turns out, Egypt was actively undermining U.S. national security (not to mention our democracy) at that very moment. Congress cannot let the aid go forward.

Wow, this is a big domino to fall against Menendez.

Well, this blew my mind almost as much as the allegations that a sitting US Senator accepted bribes from the Egyptian government. Wow.
