Intern Doctors are the front line doctors in all the government hospitals. Unfortunately the policy makers ie politicians etc never feel their impact because when they do get sick they have access and the money to afford private care or even fly out. #DeployAllMedicalInterns

How is an Intern Doctor expected to work Monday to Monday, Day and Night? Ministry of Health- Uganda do we really have an idea of the dangers this presents ? Why can’t we deploy more Intern Doctors?

I have been looking at this headline for two days now. I sometimes wonder if all this is a dream and I'll one day wake up to a better reality. I am lost of words. Where are our leaders? Where are our seniors? Where are our priorities? When does it get better?

Yesterday i had a conversation with my dad, was curious to find out whether the country has always been this bad or it just got here. And we came to an agreement that its always been bad. Just getting worse.

We were honored to have joined the Tubeere Balamu Health Campaign at Buddu Saza, Masaka, on Dec 5-6! This marked the start of a weeks-long effort to serve communities across Buganda. Nomadic Doctors Uganda was proud to be part of it!

Monday needs to be investigated. It's an unusually long day! I can't tell if its because it's a new year or the January weather but ah ah.
