The argument that G5 will get blown out is silly. 25 of the 41 games played since the CFP started have been decided by 14+ points. Only two of those included G5 teams. But you know who was included FSU -39 Oregon -22 & -20 OhSt -31 & -28 Mich -23 ND -27 Bama -28 OU-35 UT -25 etc
