First journey on an London North Eastern Railway Azuma. Quiet, smooth, good air con, bright and airy. Seat res displays very clear. BUT, and a big BUT, these seats. OMG! So so so uncomfy. Absolutely rock hard, no padding & very strange shaped painful back rest ๐Can't cope with these for long journeys.
Is the Derby Midland name original doublearrow.co.uk ? And sorry the blue bordered signs on the the road, but I found them in the back garden of a pub and thought them interesting. Road(&rail)sign Reporter @ShowMeASignBryn

Cheers NORTHERN ๐ Transport for the North . Suppose I best drive in to Manchester then, adding to congestion and pollution.
Hi Calderdale Highways Calderdale Council - any details about this closure? Surely not closed for 4 mths? You do realise what inconvenience closing that road causes? LONG LONG diversion and delays, esp when part of my alternative rte to work also closed same time! one.network/?117105660
This is genuine query that I hope doublearrow.co.uk might be able help with. The first version of the WYPTE Red & Cream livery which appeared in 1986 I believe is pictured here. Does anyone know the paint colour codes for the red, cream and yellow(s?). All help much appreciated!
One for UK Traffic Signs Road(&rail)sign Reporter @ShowMeASignBryn spotted on my travels today.
A couple for doublearrow.co.uk taken yesterday. What's the story with the White on Black sign? I've seen some before but can't think where. It looks reasonably old and "BR era".

Spotted on my travels a fortnight ago. Perhaps the signs will be relevant again depending how the new Government's rail policy pans out. doublearrow.co.uk
