How big and profitable would US tech companies and others be if they were not able to sell anything abroad? If they follow @POYTUS demands and move all their production to the USA, perhaps the world would just boycott the USA (or put 100% tariffs on its products!)

THE SUPREME COURT IS BEING PLAYED BY THE RADICAL LEFT LOSERS, WHO HAVE NO SUPPORT, THE PUBLIC HATES THEM, AND THEIR ONLY HOPE IS THE INTIMIDATION OF THE COURT, ITSELF. WE CAN’T LET THAT HAPPEN TO OUR COUNTRY!

The President of The United States is telling (his) people that the Supreme Court, and presumably the justices, should be intimidated. Is this right? The New York Times Fox News The Washington Post

If you run a real estate company and your contract negotiations are not going the way you want, you can walk away. If you run a country you cannot just walk away - you have to continue dealing with the world. President Donald J. Trump thinks he is running a business. He is not.

Why do Junior Doctors /Residents want salaries to be restored to 2008 levels in real terms? Why not 1950, or 1930? I am sure they could find a higher data point.

e Russian economy is growing at "only 1.4% pa. This is as much as some european economies so why is it portrayed as "suffering" by the PDE and others? Sanctions are clearly not working. why does the world still buy Russian gas and oil?

The USA wants $61bln to extend its "Golden Dome" missile defence to Canada, although the system is of limited value because few missiles have that kind of reach at the moment. But what of its obligations under NATO? IS the USA going to renege on them too?

While President Donald J. Trump complains of foreign interference in US politics, why should freedom of speech extend to posting inflammatory and fake or misleading posts on social media about internal matters in other countries?

Whatever fines are collected by HM Treasury from water companies surely what they should be used for is clear - they should be used to clean up the disgusting mess that water companies and Ofwat have made of our water. The Times and The Sunday Times

Should aylum seekers be able to claim anti-regime social media posts made after leaving their home country mean they cannot return home? Surely jeopardy creates after leaving home should be disallowed? Home Office The Times and The Sunday Times

Why will US pharma companies charge less in the USA because foreign countries pay more? Surely they will just make (yet) more profit. This is interference in free markets by President Donald J. Trump for the benefit of his pharma buddies. The Times and The Sunday Times The New York Times

Women's football team withdraws from any league that supports "no trans women" rule from the FA. The self-entitlement of the long-haired male is astonishing. msn.com/en-gb/sport/fo…

Seems Elon Musk is upset when “something bad would happen anywhere and we (Doge) would get blamed for it even if we had nothing to do with it.” But he loves sharing lies and fake news about others that have real consequences. Glad he is getting his own medicine.

The Liberal Democrats have 72 MPs. They don't even get 5% of the media coverage Nigel Farage and his band of clueless merrymen receive. How is this right? #BBCBreakfast

Interesting how stories are recast to suit the message. Attorney General Lord Hermer says putting aside international law that does not suit you, “proposed by ‘realist' jurists in Germany, most notably Carl Schmitt” is wrong. Tories say his is calling them Nazis!

On BBC Morning Live a lady says she needs an electric lift to live in her house because she can’t walk up stairs and is worried about power cuts. Sad for her, but is this society’s problem? Shouldn’t she live in a bungalow or apartment?

Seems Putin was President Donald J. Trump’ friend until a week ago when he discovered Putin is bombing civilians in Ukraine. Didn’t the idiot realise Putin has been bombing civilians for 3 years?

A resident doctor’s photo appears in The Times and The Sunday Times today with a placard saying £19.30 / hour for 120 nans (grandmothers) (mostly asleep) = 16p per hour per nan. By the same token overpaid London Tube drivers are paid only 10p per commuter (also asleep) journey (give or take).
