Getting reports of targeting of mosques in Milton Keynes. This is not reflective of our inclusive and diverse city and I absolutely condemn any violent acts. We are an amazing city and we will not let people that engage in this destructive behaviour damage us #loveMK

Using Christian symbolism or the name of God to justify violence is offensive to everything that Christ stands for. There is never any justification for this and I urge any Christian doing it to repent.

During this time of unrest in the UK we want to pray for peace and for peacemakers. We want to stand in solidarity with those affected and encourage you to do the same, working together in bringing understanding of one another and overcoming the spread of hate. 🙏
