Cleaners at Anna refuse to let the fear - of being disciplined, of losing their jobs, of being assaulted even - stop them from speaking out. We've been on campus every Friday for the past 3 weeks and we will keep coming back until we get justice.

This is a wake up call - if government is prepared to squeeze sharp rent rises out of the poorest even in an election year, they have zero interest in the working class. Will you now make a firm commitment to rent controls The Labour Party, Liberal Democrats The Green Party ?

While those lucky enough to have bought up property decades ago are guaranteed a comfy retirement, millions of renters will live out our later years in complete insecurity. We need to transform the role housing plays in our political system. We need homes for people, not profit.

🚨🚨 on Weds MPs will vote on the "anti-boycott" bill that will prevent unis and councils making ethical decisions about who they spend and invest with... especially in Israel. It's dystopia time. UK people, register your dissent. ✉️ Email MP palestinecampaign.eaction.online/MPboycottvote

Very sorry to say there was inaccuracy in this tweet. Brandon Lewis was knighted in June. Which means all four Conservative politician who were called to answer for their failures to prevent the Grenfell Tower fire have been either knighted or given a peerage since the fire.

Over 60 of us occupied Lambeth council's housing office for over 2 hours this morning in support of Amin and his family. Baby Dareen has been hospitalised 6 times due to the mould flat. We demanded action so this will never happen again!✊️💪🏡❤️

Three years ago there were 600 long-term empty homes on the Aylesbury estate. Today they still sit empty and the number has increased. x.com/35percent_EAN/…

Seriously worrying precendent here. 'Decant' residents from social housing blocks for urgent repair work, then change course and sell the blocks to the private sector.

2.2m people in the UK live with black mould. Nearly a million live with serious damp. We need a serious policy response: more enforcement and investment in social housing. Film screening and protest opposite Parliament next Weds: actionnetwork.org/events/mould-i…
