I love science of reading! It doesn’t need to involve politics. We all want our children to develop to their fullest potential 👩👩❤️❤️

It also meant having a literacy specialist helping Ts of all subjects to plan their reading materials so they are comprehensible to ss with varying reading levels. Ts need to make sure ss understand what they are reading b4 assigning them to use the concepts in applications

Caring for students means designing personalized learning opportunities, providing flexibility with deadlines, and mentoring students to become a better college student #literacies

Q4: Why is authentic care an act of resistance? How is equity connected to authentic acts of care in #literacies spaces?

I am not against trying different things. To me self care is also self exploration, finding what works for you. What works for others may not work for you. #literacies

I feel cared for when I receive growth-focused feedback taking one's affect into consideration. Negative affective factors can be detrimental to the feedback process. #literacies

I want to connect with graduate students who are interested in cross-cultural rhetoric in writing and equity in writing assessment. I also have a growing interest in cross-cultural rhetoric in communication and intercultural communication.
