Don't know yet what Dunsyre Blues film will say but do know that anyone looking deeper into the Selina Cairns case so far (including courts and world experts in microbiology) thinks there's something seriously whiffy here – and it's not the cheese.

Looks like the most compelling food show on screens this week isn't GBBO or GBMenu, it's Dunsyre Blues. It's about real food, real people and real injustice and unfairness. In Scotland.

And Dunsyre Blues, like Selina Cairns before them, are finding transparency going ⬇️ while lawyers bills (paid for by public purse) going ⬆️. Strange for them to clam up, as it wasn't so long ago SLC and FSS wanted everyone to know how dangerous the cheese was.

In case you haven't seen this yet. Traditional cheesemaking and other artisan food production is under real threat in Scotland. We need legal objectivity to push back against bad science, administrative overreach and indifferent politicians. bit.ly/2GLHsBC

Part 2 of David H Ramsden's life and turbulent times published by The List. For those who follow Edinburgh's dining scene it's a trip down a scenic but rather bumpy memory lane. food.list.co.uk/article/111158…

In The List we've been publishing a series of articles written by David H Ramsden about his career in Edinburgh restaurants. Here's Part 3, where it gets personal. And uncomfortable. And brave. bit.ly/2khJMXo

The concluding part of David H Ramsden's 4-part series with The List covering his restaurant career, anorexia and #mentalhealth. An insight not just into a singular character and Edinburgh's restaurant scene, but also the realities of hospitality bit.ly/2lCrtfH
