of these lost women, 598 ('09-'15) are recorded in embroidered tribute squares of The Women's Quilt - which National Trust now exhibits to explain the extent of these lost lives & the terrible impact of violence towards too many women who are the tragic victims of male violence.

Since last year on this day, these are the women killed in the UK where a man has been convicted or charged as the primary perpetrator in the case.
