new mcp spec just dropped: 1. auth is fixed! at last! 2. elicitation now makes it possible for a server to ask an end-user for more info, enabling more agentic behaviors 3. structured tool outputs makes it easier to reason about tool responses 4. more security documentation

Sneak peek 👀 bringing Dagger to Visual Studio Code as an extension. Imagine running your pipelines and modules right inside the editor. Still rough in spots, especially output UX, but here’s an early preview 👇 Curious what features you’d want to see? #vscode #dagger #developers

New feature: Dagger and GitHub Copilot Chat! Ask questions and it automatically searches Dagger’s docs to provide context and links from inside your editor. Answers from documentation are now one chat message away! Dagger GitHub Copilot Visual Studio Code

I just found my favorite MCP Server SDK - it's Dagger! $ dagger -m <module> mcp Dagger modules can be exposed as MCP servers. It means that your MCP servers will be containerized out of the box. Plus, you won't have to deal with the official MCP SDKs - one less thing to learn.

You could also use Dagger as it has sandboxing to protect the host. docs.dagger.io/features/secur… You can also run your CI anywhere with Dagger, including on that fancy new laptop hardware! Bonus Points: We have a GitHub Actions integration as well so it’s super easy to get

📢 Alright, so I'm going to release this! It'll be a CLI-based screen/cam recorder for macOS. It's going to be a week or two until it's fully ready. But until then, sign up on the waitlist and I'll let you know when it's available! framecap.app
