Deck A of the JLA Satellite: Hal had lain there unconscious. It was a few hours before he slowly started coming too. He was aware of a fierce pain at the base of his skull. Hal moved carefully, getting to his knees. {wha’...} He breathed slowly, focusing, trying to remember.

{What happened...?} He couldn’t remember and strangely there seemed to be a block in his... no, there wasn’t. {That was strange...} For a second he had felt like there was something blocking his memories, now nothing. He waited a moment more before rising to his feet.

He was about to ask his ring what happened, but stopped. {No need... silly accident...} There was something... He turned. “What did you say?” He groaned, rubbing the back of his head. “Yeah, concussion... I’ll get that checked, thanks...”
