We've been quiet recently, but we'll have a song or two featured on Duncairn Arts's Take 2 St Patrick's Day special tomo night. You can watch it at 8pm on their Facebook or Youtube channel. Here's a song we did in The American Bar for them back in October. youtube.com/watch?v=vgBR-b…

Was a real treat supporting one of our heroes JINX LENNON in The American Bar a few weeks back. An incredible songwriter and a great man. Thanks to everybody who came out to it. Also, up Dundalk!

Back in October we performed at Duncairn Arts for a TG4 show. The song is a beautiful piece by North Belfast man Brian Connors, who worked as a teacher for many years in St Patrick's school which was situated just a few doors down from the Duncairn. youtube.com/watch?v=-eUA8w…

Our new track Casual Curses is out now on Bandcamp and all streaming platforms. The piece is a poem by North Belfast poet John Campbell talking about the joys of having to sign on for casual work in the late 1950s that we put to music. thealcovesbelfast.bandcamp.com/track/casual-c…

Found this recently, our first setlist from supporting The Mary Wallopers in the Sunflower pub in 2020. We’ll be bringing a new song out in a few weeks.

Our new track is out now. A song that was written in the early 70s by North Belfast's Brian Connors and speaks of a nostalgic love of Antrim's coastline. youtube.com/watch?v=vKhoWW…

If you missed it, we released a song this day last week, a lovely fishing ballad written by a Belfast man about his love for Cushendun. This photo was taken a few miles round the coast from Cushendun on a disposable camera in 2022. You can listen on Bancamp or streaming services
