@ellle_em john roderick He's abusive. He delights in the power he wields over his child, who he notes has problems with "spatial orientation, process visualization, and order of operation." Like so many abusers, he sees the harm but is unmoved, believing "I'm doing this for your own good." YTAx100000
Lily Chumley @ellle_em john roderick "He wants to teach her that she is not smart enough." YES. Brilliantly stated. He writes, "She said, 'How?' like all kids do when they want YOU to do it." Or maybe she just trusted her dad to teach her how to do it, and he violated that trust.
Crystal Carrion I couldn't quite shake why it was bothering me so much and then I caught it. And while I don't know enough about this man I strongly suspect that if his child was a son and not a daughter he wouldn't have automatically assumed they had an angle.
