This piece by Jack Malvern does a great job of explaining why #Oceandiva has become one of “the most controversial licensing applications in London.” #WrongBoatWrongRiver.

Thank you ITV London for reporting on the concerns of #Thames residents regarding what has been called "the most controversial licensing application London has ever faced". #Oceandiva #WrongRiverWrongBoat

Very concerning. The mayor, PLA, Newham Council & all bodies with power to regulate this vessel need to listen to residents who are rightly concerned about the size & impact of Oceandiva #wrongboatwrongriver standard.co.uk/news/london/th…

Residents in the historic #Southwark neighbourhood of Shad Thames are making their antipathy towards #Oceandiva clear 👇 They’ve been proved right that this enormous vessel is too big for a narrow urban river #wrongboatwrongriver

#Oceandiva is back in London after repairs. The Southwark Lib Dems & London Liberal Democrats have been clear from the start that this huge vessel is utterly unsuitable for the Thames - a narrow urban river. The full report into the accident in June must be released. #wrongboatwrongriver

⚠️August Bank Holiday works This weekend, there are essential maintenance works taking place on Tower Bridge. We remain open as a visitor attraction, but you will need to arrive at the Bridge from the north, ie. the Tower of London side, in order to reach our Ticket Office (1/2)

All credit to the tireless campaign from community organisations, local businesses & Liberal Democrats London Assembly member Caroline Pidgeon It was clear that #Oceandiva was the #wrongboatwrongriver A reminder that community campaigns & residents’ objections can make a difference 🙏
