Very disappointing that the Prime Minister refused to confirm whether vulnerable children and their carers will continue to get the support they need through the Adoption & Special Guardianship Support Fund, which is due to end next week.

As Lizzy illustrates so powerfully, PIP is vital for so many #pwME #pwLC. With so much concern at proposed welfare reforms, it’s been good to start work with Jo Platt and Action for ME to better understand issues, and how to mitigate, with joint APPG ME/LC meeting next week.

With the other 60 LibDems on Somerset Council I’ve signed a letter raising concerns at suspension of maternity services at Yeovil, putting more pressure on Musgrove Park where CQC rated the maternity unit inadequate and replacement of substandard facilities is not due until 2033
