The turtle in Aerith's mural reminds me of Yuffie's happy turtle poster quest. 1 of the posters has two turtles at a bar. 1 has a pink bow (Aerith??) and the other has a flower ready as a gift. Aerith mentioned a certain flower would make a great gift...

In Aerith's mural I think there is a reference to the famous fairytale 'The Ugly Duckling' It's a story about a young bird who was different and experienced loneliness. Eventually finding a sense of belonging to others similar, they ultimately find acceptance of their true self.

Aerith who says she feels one step away and can't quite reach something... In contrast, Cloud knows that feeling very well doesn't he? So I think what Aerith said might've resonated with a hidden part of Cloud during Remake's language of flowers scene.

In Remake, Sephiroth tells Cloud that the future is up to Cloud. 未来は おまえ次第だ クラウドー The future Cloud wants is clear as depicted in the content.

In the final battle in Remake, Sephiroth tells Cloud (specifically) not to defy fate. 運命に逆らうな　クラウド I just wanted to say, I don't think Aerith being saved was Sephiroth's intent in the beginning.

When Cloud crossed the Wall of Fate, he also carried the hope of Tifa, Barret, Yuffie, Nanaki, Vincet, and Cait Sith... ...to protect Aerith. Together with Cloud... I think this hope was what came out of the buster sword to cut through Fate.

In Rebirth's recap of FF7 Remake, doesn't the explanation of what happened at destiny's crossroad seem similar to what happened in Rebirth? 「壁を越えた先で 我々は 運命の番人を取り込んだセフィロスと激突する」 「仲間の想いを乗せたクラウドの一撃が 運命を斬りひらく」

Cloud takes Aerith's hand off of his arm. Did she think Cloud was rejecting her? She even takes her other hand off too. I noticed her expression. But it became the opposite... Aerith's change in expression to a smile was beautiful.
