Great example of how we can see problems within the person rather than consider the stressors and barriers within the environment and the biases within our own perspectives and approaches.

When did educational evangelism become a thing? Why are certain high profile educators determined to convert others to their way? Don't they have enough to do running their own schools without trying to shape the whole system? Do they really think that there is a 'right' way?

Acting for a YP in DOLs proceedings was one the hardest thing I have ever done.

We survey the parents at our school each year. We ask them how they feel about school, if their children feel happy, how listened to they feel...

Almost 200 responses last time & overwhelmingly positive.

We do this because we care & know that happier parents = happier kids.

A more accurate phrase would be 'stopping feeling increased pain'

Schools often ask how they can improve mh&wb. Here's a great step you can take: join this free seminar; learn from the experts how to build an evidence base; the learning Child Outcomes Research Consortium (CORC) is immense and their approach is holistic and co-productive.

This does rather put the lie to the idea that Ofsted gradings are helpful for parents. 🤷‍♀️

It's so important to be able to measure the effectiveness of interventions. I would recommend Child Outcomes Research Consortium (CORC) work to any school serious about measuring interventions to support MH.

How can OFSTED inspect a school where 86% of parents would not recommend it to other parents, special needs support is considered poor by 77% of parents of SEND pupils, and 70% of parents report their children are unhappy there, and give it a 'good' rating??
