Great post on Likelihood Ratios by Saint Emlyn's stemlynsblog.org/podcast-likeli… Challenge is we don’t write guidance (local or national) with LR in mind. Cinician may entirely appropriately not treat for tonsillitis via LR but can be criticised if poor outcome as guidance only binary.
