Unlike most people i don't think this is necessarily a bad thing. Ash & Iron was terrible and Marathon NEEDS to succeed for Bungie's and Destiny's future. Mark my words, we'll get the roadmap in early April.

All Avatar's are of the same level of power. They draw power from the same source and are even straight up reincarnations of the past dude. Skill is what differentiates each Avatar, and i believe Kyoshi is the most skilled followed by Aang

Korra "had it easy" when she had to deal with a master blood bender, the literal embodiment of evil, 4 benders stated to be some of the greatest in the current world, and a big ass mech with a spirit superweapon. The worst Avatar is Roku, who did nothing and let millions die.

Unalaq was trying to destroy the world and killing Korra specifically was the entire plot of S3. And let's not pretend like Amon and Kuvira weren't willing to kill her if necessary. Literally just watch the show.

You do realize ATLA is what started the Lion Turtles granting bending, right? That's how Aang got energybending. LOK just expanded it to all bending. Having the ability to throw rocks and actually learning how to bend are different things.

I get wanting more of a story for Bolin getting lavabending, i even agree and think that was a missed opportunity, but I've never understood why people are obsessed with Lavabending being connected to Fire. It's hot rocks, not fire.
