#XLibre #x11 server is getting traction. There are now already at least 4 Linux distributions with packages for it, including a Live ISO. The interest from the community shows that people don't want to be forced on #Wayland, and are happy to see a community maintained X11 server.

FreeBSD 16.0-CURRENT lives! And I now have a FreeBSD stable/15 branch on my laptop, which will be landing in the git repository shortly; I forgot to ask the git admins to allow that branch to be created (we have an allowlist system to avoid accidental pushes).

Would anyone be interested in hearing me talk at BSDCan @[email protected] about the process behind FreeBSD 15.0? Release engineering and generally all the "behind the scenes" stuff which doesn't show up in a git repository.
