So... I hear Micro Center is opening a new store in Charlotte, NC soon. May 10th, to be exact: microcenter.com/site/stores/ch…

Can you guess who will be there? I mean, besides Greg Salazar of course...

An incredibly quick review of the InfiRay P2 Pro thermal IR camera youtube.com/watch?v=0wxqf0… — I'm using this IR camera for most of my thermal testing now, since it has a nice magnetic snap-on macro lens. The software's the worst part.

NAB is this week. I still just want some camera system or external HDMI recorder where it has an SFP+ cage or RJ45 10 GbE port, and you can record in H.265 or maybe even ProRes straight to a NAS.

By coincidence, on my YouTube Shorts recommendations, Xyla Foxlin⚡ appears next to Jeff Geerling and makes it look like she is the one trying to make a hot dog talk:

Full 4K video of bailey's beads + diamond ring here: youtube.com/watch?v=AbX90Q… (Twitter compresses things a bit more than I'd like).

Hopefully my full eclipse video will post tomorrow morning!

It'd be really neat if Raspberry Pi 5 supported UEFI out of the box. But this is a pretty nice alternative: github.com/worproject/rpi… (h/t to leepspvideo on YouTube for showing it running!)

lol 'Comcast and other ISPs complained that listing every monthly fee would be too difficult' arstechnica.com/tech-policy/20…

Maybe they should, I don't know... simplify their fee structure?

My favorite thing is it requires listing upload speeds. Cable ISPs conveniently hide that.

Spotted at by bret.dk: a Raspberry Pi 15.6' display. Strange specs but could be an okay budget option bret.dk/official-raspb…

The fundamental error all of these GenAI use cases make is in assuming that people will want to read something that other people couldn't be bothered to write.

They could also do well to get more hardware vendors to support Arm. Vanishingly few devices work with WoA, outside of maybe USB.
