Self-care is anything you can do to improve or influence your own health & wellbeing, like what you choose to eat & drink, how active you are & when it comes to mental health, how you interact with others. This week we’ll have top tips & useful links for you. #selfcareweek2019

Today I produced my first live webinar on safe working during coronavirus for Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust 💙. The new IT infrastructure is changing the way we work and allowing us to update and communicate with colleagues in quicker and more effective ways! #workingduringcovid

Flexi placement ✅ I had a really enjoyable time at Department of Health and Social Care . Learnt so much about health policy and really enjoyed putting my health inequalities knowledge to good use. Now back to Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust 💙 for the final placement on the NHS Graduate Management Training Scheme (GMTS) - time is moving so quickly!

#DayOfReflection One whole year since we went into Lockdown. Taking time out to remember those who we have sadly lost but also the NHS colleagues who have been working so tirelessly all this time to look after others 💙

Shadowing the med reg shift in ED last week was a highlight of the grad scheme so far. Really important to spend time with clinical colleagues to understand what they see everyday. As well as connecting with patients which can sometimes be far removed as service manager.

This week the stroke unit at Frimley Park celebrated 20 years since it was opened by Professor John Marshall back in 2001. Since opening the stroke unit has been an integral part of the Trust, treating thousands of patients. We can't wait to see what the next 20 years bring!

☎️ Putting out a call ☎️ thinking of making the move from 🏥 healthcare ➡️ public health 🚏💟 but unsure of what positions are out there and are suitable for a recent gmts grad 🎓 anyone working in public health (ideally in LDN) I could have a quick chat with? 📱

Two years later, I’ve finished the NHS Graduate Management Training Scheme (GMTS) and had my last day at Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust 💙 . I feel so grateful for the people I’ve met and the roles I’ve been placed in. I’ll miss my Frimley family but looking forward to starting at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children
