I work with so many amazing nurses and midwives-it’s hard to know where to start with the thanks. You’ve taught me so much about life, leadership and great care over the years. Thank you to all of you for that, and for what you do each day #InternationalNursesDay

Today marks my last day as an NHS GMTS trainee. I am so lucky to have worked with amazing people, teams and services that have made a huge difference to patient care throughout the pandemic and beyond. I hope that I can take all of my learning with me when I join UCLH in June!

Was told by a patient that they wanted to speak to a ‘proper’ manager over the age of 50 today. I was stunned and didn’t know what to say as I had gone out of my way to try and help them. Any advice on how best to tackle undertones of age discrimination in the workplace?
