Imagine ignoring 20-25% of the population when initiating a diversity plan or program. You don’t have to imagine it. It happens every day. Diversity isn’t diversity if it doesn’t include disability.

We're seeing trends that indicate widespread dense freezing fog will develop over the area aft 3-4am & last thru 9-10am. This may add to slick spots on roads and walkways as well as reduce visibility to < 1/4 mile at times. Please plan you commute tomorrow AM accordingly.

My biggest #elearning advice is to protect your eyes! Invest in blue light glasses or a blue light filter. Take a 5 minute break every 20 minutes to not stare at a screen. Drink LOTS of water to combat headaches, too!

I hope schools aren’t expecting to ramp up workloads & expectations if this lasts beyond the original timeframe. Because not only will children be more stressed and anxious but think of the extra stress, anxiety, & depression as families worry about paychecks, bills, & survival.

I need Seesaw help! In the notifications section, it says there are updates to a student's own work that are "pending approval" but there's nowhere to approve them. Not a banner on the bottom saying "unapproved items". Can anyone provide some guidance, please? Thank you!

It'd be nice if Seesaw had "teacher" vs "interactor" modes. That way classroom and building staff who want to interact with the students, but who don't need access to approving or sending back work, can engage with the students without potentially changing things.

During teacher appreciation week, educators often forget they are parents too-if you have children make sure you email your colleagues who have been a part of their lives-You might be the only parent who sends an email to them (& include PE, art, counselors, coaches, nurses etc).
