It’s 3 November. The apples of England have just been picked - a bumper year, but my local Sainsbury's is selling apples flown 12,000 miles from New Zealand. How can that make any sense? ‘Net zero by 2035’ Sainsbury's?

Just had a knock from Gareth Derrick who is sitting against Johnny Mercer in my constituency. I have to say he comes across incredibly well and I'll be delighted to give him my vote in the next GE.

Feeling a bit cross today at the news about how Britain's recession is going be worse than that in the US or the Eurozone. Someone, somewhere, has clearly made some bad choices.

On October 30th, a man threw petrol bombs at an immigration centre in Dover, injuring two. Minutes later he killed himself. Three days on, the attack has been largely forgotten. But it's worth taking a closer look at what he posted online, and what it says about radicalisation:

Home Office refusing to provide any comment on why Suella Braverman appears to have used a Chinook helicopter to travel 20 miles between Dover and Manston this afternoon. It's a 30-minute journey by car.

Covid. Ukraine. The mad mini-budget. Austerity. General Tory incompetence and waste. All factors in the current economic mess. But BREXIT is right up there with all of them. Yet the people in power don’t want to say so. Madness. You can’t fix what you won’t admit is broke

Brexit is ACTUALLY being mentioned as the major reason for increase in Channel crossings. On Question Time. On the BBC. Wow. Knock me down with a feather. #bbcqt #RefugeesWelcome #chinook #LeakySue #GeneralElectionNow #BrokenBritain

"So many Conservative MPs have changed their minds about Conservative policies, is there a possibility that the country has changed it's mind about Brexit?" #BBCQT She speaks for the country

John Longworth Our econonomy would be 5.5% larger if we had stayed in the SM & CU. That would be £125Bn a year more GDP; £50Bn more tax. The BoE are covering for BREXIT by blaming the Truss & Kwarteng IEA budget. cer.eu/research/cost-…

Mark Carney tells BBC Radio 4 Today that Brexit is a key reason for interest rates having to go up. Says 2016 vote devalued sterling, hit growth and productivity + adds he was right in his warnings.

8:23am Friday morning. From the Bristol Channel to the Thames Estuary, sewage dumping on an organised, industrial scale all of it caused by just 2 companies, South West Water & Southern Water. And the Defra UK, Ofwat & Environment Agency does what exactly?

Let's get this straight: Rejoining the EU is a complex process that will take years of negotiations. Removing the economic harm of Brexit needs alignment with the Single Market & Customs Union and can be done in weeks. The poverty we're facing now DOESN'T NEED TO BE THIS BAD!

Truly excellent from this audience member on BBC Question Time. It's not just the asylum system that's broken - it's the NHS, transport, education, the courts. "How much of this, potentially, is down to Brexit?"

I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again, but it’d be awfully helpful if dido harding were now to tell us what she did with that £37 billion. committees.parliament.uk/committee/127/…
