Very nice mechanistic sarcopenia study. Important to note these mice only lose 5-10% body weight in their cancer model. So not sure how these results will compare to more potent cachexia models where mice are losing >20% body weight

Biomass Bob Oh please. I'm of South Asian ethnicity, and grew up in an ancestrally vegetarian family, going back at least 5 generations. Every generation has sarcopenia and heart disease even though processed foods were a small proportion of the diet. Only reason - high carbs.

102, quite cognizant, coherent, standing, and I assume is able to walk and move unassisted.

This is normalcy. Getting alzheimer's and becoming crippled from sarcopenia IS NOT.
