Finally! It’s time to apply some Minwax wipe on poly to finish off this walnut and purpleheart cross. I think it turned out great and is one of the best ones that I have made. To see the entire build, check out my video for the previous few days.

Working on refurbishing my outdoor bar chairs. These have been outside for years. Powder coated aluminum. I'm cheap so I decided to coat them with a minwax 'oil rubbed Bronze' paint to see if I can squeeze some more use out of them. Came out better that I expected.

Lowe’s when I need Minwax products, HD for most other things, Ace when I need six #8 1” flat-head brass screws.

Raggedy_Andy 🥪 Corey Ward I wasn't staining, just oil based polyurethane. Minwax and Varathane are maybe the only 2 big players to choose from. Agree 💯 on the Sherwin Williams (minwax) store option. They're usually way more help and often cheaper in bulk than any the box stores.

Chad Ludeman Dezeen Some finish sanding and lovingly applied Minwax white base stain. The fir quickly darkens in our socal sunlight otherwise.

Metalhead Printing 🎸🤘 The VP of Minwax in the 80’s taught me that booth trick. He introduced Thomason’s water seal with a rain display on siding and a fence. Was elaborate sold one product. Booth generated 120m sales to retail. Booth had a line up whole show.
