Patient with multiple sclerosis treated with interferon, with proteinuria, thrombocytopenia and anemia. Bx shows TMA - bloodless glom, onion skinning, mesangiolysis and double contours. Interferon now on my list of drugs that cause TMA. #kidneypath #renalpath
The initial sections on the biopsy of this ANCA + patient had tons of red blood cell casts. Congo red had a very suspicious lesion, but on the deeper sections everything was clear. Sometimes late results are the best ones. #kidneypath #renalpath

IS: predn, MMF, belatacept. Cr 1.8, Pro 0,55 g/24h. Previous Bx with ABMR/TMA. Plasmaph + IVIg. Adds tacrolimus.
