Good news, got into import plugins and learned that Godot lets you modify scenes on import 🤖

This is big because it allows you to use the power of Blender geonodes as a world generation tool seamlessly. This is basically a Blender-Godot equivalent of Unreal PCG

wrote a little tool to do something like '9 slicing' but for meshes.

parts of the mesh are repeated, some are stretched, and some are just moved.

needs a bit of prep in Blender, but no geonodes or Houdini is involved, it's all just Unity

Geometry Nodes make Marvelous Designer to #b3d workflows much more convenient. MD gives clean UVs, but funky auto topology. Blender didn't have a convenient way to do UV retopo before geonodes, but now it only takes a moment!
