In UK we’ve a #DifferentialAttainment gap that disproportionately impacts #Black #doctors . We’re less likely to pass specialty exams & progress in training compared to our white counterparts. Please can you describe strategies that have narrowed gap. TY

Prof Indranil Chakravorty MBE 🇮🇳🇬🇧🌏 will be presenting the work he leads 'Bridging the Gap' - tackling #DifferentialAttainment in medical profession and join the discussion 'Where do we stand currently in addressing the issue of DifferentialAttainment' at #LtF2022 on the 2nd of December 2022.

What is #differentialattainment ? The pass rate for postgrad exams is 41% for #internationalmedicalgraduates compared with 75% for UK white graduates and 63% for UK black and minority ethnicities. Dr Ahmed Ali highlights what can be done about this EMTA session #RCEMasc
