Last night, #OceanViking evacuated 113 people from a black overcrowded rubber boat in pitch dark. Among the survivors now taken care of by SOS MEDITERRANEE and IFRC : 23 women, some are pregnant, around 30 unaccompanied minors and 3 babies with the youngest being only 3 weeks old.

After an alert from Alarm Phone, #GeoBarents rescued 38 people including an unaccompanied minor.
They were found in distress on an unseaworthy small fiberglass boat located in the international waters in the #centralmed .

🔴Breaking: This morning, the crew of #Humanity1 rescued 88 people from an overcrowded, unseaworthy wooden boat in international waters as rain set in. The rescued people had been at sea for 3 days without lifejackets and are now safely onboard Humanity 1.
