On a cold April Monday in 1917, over 15,000 Canadian soldiers stormed uphill through mud and machine gun fire to capture #VimyRidge .
Today, on #VimyRidge Day, we honour the courage of all the soldiers and Canadian Army Medical Corp who answered the call to serve.

Asa Quick of Maple Creek #Saskatchewan served with the 10th Battalion CEF in France. He joined the unit on 7th April, 1917. He was killed two days later in the attack on #VimyRidge . #WWI #FWW
