PHX is ready for #MonsoonSeason ! The City of Phoenix’s Summer Safety Awareness Week highlighted an annual training held for specially trained firefighters known as, Technical Rescue Technicians.

Because of regular training with and Phoenix Police, first responders are prepared.

With #FathersDay right around the corner, we wanted to feature Captain Richie Robnett and his beautiful daughter!

This weekend, we celebrate ALL of the dads within #PHXFire for being a guiding light in their children’s lives.

Crews have achieved fire control. Firefighters will remain on the scene over the next couple hours to extinguish all remaining hotspots. No injuries were reported.

Technical rescue teams from the Phoenix Fire Department are on the scene at Camelback Mountain for a potential mountain rescue. Information is still coming in on the condition of the patient but the PIO is on site and will provide an update in a timely manner.🚒

Firefighters are on the scene of a 1st Alarm House Fire near 16th St & Roosevelt. Please avoid the area.

Two lost hikers have been located and assisted off of Camelback Mountain today after they became disoriented on the desert trail. Crews were able to maneuver through an active swarm of bees and help the overheated pair down to safety. 🚒

Crews have achieved fire control on a double house fire at this location. Prior to the fire departments arrival all homeowners had safely evacuated the structures.

Firefighters have been called out this morning for a hazardous situation. Initial reports are recycling equipment on fire. The PIO will provide information as it becomes available.

Don’t let a sketchy hotspot get your identity in hot water.

This morning, our crews, along w/ Phoenix Fire Dept., Bureau of Land Management Arizona Fire Management, & AZ State Forestry did a great job fighting a brush fire near Pioneer Rd and west of the I-17. The fire was held to approximately 15 acres and the cause is unknown. No firefighter injuries were reported.

Today was #BringYourChildToWorkDay for the City of Phoenix, AZ, and our #PHXFire kiddos had a BLAST! They got to enjoy spraying the fire hose, trying on turnouts, and getting fire department swag. Special shoutout to D. Baxter the Bobcat for showing up and making the event more memorable!
