PHX is ready for #MonsoonSeason ! The City of Phoenix’s Summer Safety Awareness Week highlighted an annual training held for specially trained firefighters known as, Technical Rescue Technicians.
Because of regular training with and Phoenix Police, first responders are prepared.

This morning, our crews, along w/ Phoenix Fire Dept., Bureau of Land Management Arizona Fire Management, & AZ State Forestry did a great job fighting a brush fire near Pioneer Rd and west of the I-17. The fire was held to approximately 15 acres and the cause is unknown. No firefighter injuries were reported.
Today was #BringYourChildToWorkDay for the City of Phoenix, AZ, and our #PHXFire kiddos had a BLAST! They got to enjoy spraying the fire hose, trying on turnouts, and getting fire department swag. Special shoutout to D. Baxter the Bobcat for showing up and making the event more memorable!
