Significant decrease in fire activity on #RangeFire overnight w/not much add’l growth. Fire mapped by air Sunday at 1,033 ac. & w/n AZNG training range. Air Attack reports no visible smoke showing.
Due to safety reasons, resources must wait for fire to come out of range before
#RangeFire - 1,000 acres w/decreased fire activity; creeping & smoldering. Fire still w/n AZNG range. For safety reasons, resources must wait for it to come out of range before they can engage. Approx. 54 personnel assigned, including hand crews, engines, & overhead.

Next week #AZForestry begins 2 RX fire projects outside of #Flagstaff . On Mon. 4/22 crews start the 200-acre #WalnutRXFire E of Flag. On Tues. 4/23 ignitions begin on the 150-acre #TurkeyHillsRX NE of Flag & S of Doney Park.

This Fri. 4/19, #AZForestry along w/Bureau of Land Management Arizona Fire Management, Coronado NF, Dept. of Public Safety, & Arizona DOT host a Wildland Fire Safety Day at Texas Canyon Rest Area near Dragoon to promote roadside fire safety & awareness. So stop on by if you're in the area!

Forestry and Fire Management, Bureau of Land Management Arizona Fire Management, USDA Forest Service, Dept. of Public Safety, and ADOT held a wildland fire prevention day at the Sunset Point Rest Area to talk to drivers passing through the area.
