Fascinating session on #Courage & the Empire by Sathnam Sanghera & holding the ability to hold, and not collapse, the paradoxical impact of Empire which can silence much needed conversations #FellowsFestival

The RSA #FellowsFestival in #Newcastle last week half the speakers courageously walked out at the beginning in support of the RSA staff in dispute with John Adams Hse , leaving only 3 of us. I assuaged my conscience with the fact it wasn’t actually a strike day.

What an interesting book! Wish I’d read it before my music theory tests as a teen, but it certainly confirms what I’d figured out for myself back then…music is a very cool practical consequence of maths 🤓🎼
