In #CarersWeek2023 Ireland is an Outlier in EU when it comes to the Fundamental Human Rights of our Disabled Citizens & Carers. Ireland Can & Must Do Better. Ireland Ought to be the Best Country in EU to be Disabled. We need a Radical, Noisy & Sustained Human Rights Campaign ✊
There are over 7,000 unpaid carers in Ceredigion
The value of unpaid care in the county is a staggering £700m
We really need to recognise the heroic work that unpaid carers do, and UK Gov needs to provide greater financial and practical support for all carers
