A lovely way to start the week. Bassenthwaite Lake near Keswick in the Lake District. Stunningly picturesque . Beautiful Britain. Places like this are beneficial in so many ways to the people who live there and those who visit year on year. Can’t wait to go back again soon.

Castle Howe, Bassenthwaite: children were digging on the hill when they uncovered a tiny house with a slate roof. When they returned to the same spot a few hours later, the house had disappeared. Reminds me of the elf (Huldufólk) houses on Iceland
