Whilst it is a shame PAs are being made redundant, I have about as much sympathy for them as I would for someone with sound mind who sent £1000 to a stranger on social media purporting to be a Nigerian prince.

Disgraceful that St George's, University of London would group graduating doctors with those who've done a PA studies course.

PAs have been inappropriately used to cover 726 doctors' shifts.

At ONE hospital.

Any PA who accepts a doctors' shift is willingly acting outside their scope of competence and is a danger to patients.

They are neither our associates nor our peers.

The PA project must end.

Please join this protest if you're in the area or passing by NW1 4LE if you DO NOT want our doctors to be replaced by PAs trained for a measely 2yrs & woefully lack the knowledge and expertise of our Drs. Our safety as patients is literally at risk!

PAs with no experience running independent ADHD dx clinics.

PA without a medical degree/psych training should not be diagnosing ANY psychiatric condition as they aren't aware of subtleties/differentials.

Especially shouldn't be dx a condition managed with controlled drugs.
