Taking a breather break. Today we are stirred inti action by the 9th (Glasgow Highland) Bn, Highland Light Infantry. During the Great War they fed replacements into the 1st Bn who were serving in France in 2Div.

A Balaklava coy platoon being led into a forest attack by an 7 SCOTS platoon commander with a 6 SCOTS soldier embedded into a section. The company is conducting some low level training in wales…..weather and all!

These two young students read the names of every soldier killed during the #Vlissingen landings.

I was moved to hear the names of soldiers from KOSB (my Grandfather’s Regiment) and Royal Scots (my Father’s and my Regiment). I thought of my young son who has just joined 6 SCOTS

We are looking forward to performing at St Machars Cathedral on Sunday 9th July alongside our friends in the Highland Band. Music to include, military marches, show tunes and film scores, we hope to see you there 🎵
