The Nordic Ski Team have now finished their preseason training camp in Idre Fhall, Sweden. A tough four weeks had seen improvement across the board and well set them up well for the Infantry Championship in the new year located in Bessans, France.

Alpha ‘Grenadier’ Company have been training hard for the upcoming Inter Company Boxing night next week. They’ve had a squad of 16 boxers and are now refining their 6 week training camp with 2 days of training under Ex Professional Bantamweight, Ross ‘The Boss’ Burkinshaw.

The 'Bonnie' B Company with members of D company have been in The Falkland Islands on Exercise Southern Warrior. They have smashed it! Firing over 100,000 rounds of live ammunition they have fought during the day and at night.

The Band of The Royal Regiment of Scotland are embarking on their first ever National Tour to mark the centenary of the end of the First World War.

The role of the Lone Piper was performed by 4 SCOTS very own, Corporal Hugh Mackay.

4km march under 40 minutes (40kg)
2km march under 15 minutes (25kg)
Fire and Movement in under 5 minutes
20m drag (110kg)
A 22kg carry over 240m followed by a lift and hold 70kg
20 x 20kg carry over 30m

4 SCOTS Cross Country teams competed in the first event of the season: 4 x 5Km relay race. The Men’s A team came first in the Seniors race beating the current Army champions 5RA. The Junior men’s team came first in their category as well making it 2/4 teams medalling yesterday.
